UTC Fire & Security is aligning its United States fire and security service businesses under the Chubb brand. The transformation allows Chubb to leverage their scale and improve market efficiencies while providing a seamless interface to customers. Beginning in April, multiple entities that UTC Fire & Security has acquired including Detection Logic, Fire Systems Inc. (FSI), Florida State Fire and Security (FSFS), and Red Hawk will be known as Chubb.
“Centralizing the service businesses in United States aligns with our long term global strategy,” stated Sean Flint, president, U.S. service business, UTC Fire & Security. “Our fire and security service business in Canada, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlands, France and Belgium have already been consolidated under the Chubb name.”
Founded in 1818, Chubb has an abundant history and strong reputation in the life safety and security services. With nearly 10,000 technicians and over 400 locations, Chubb serves more than one million customers worldwide. Their services include design of safety and security requirements, installation of hardware and software that links with legacy systems, and maintenance and monitoring to deliver cost-effective integrated solutions.
At Chubb, technicians are trained on all major systems regardless of manufacturer to provide comprehensive service to customers. Monitoring centers are staffed 24-hours seven days a week to handle all types of alarm systems. Centers are certified by the Underwriters Laboratories and hold Central Station Alarm Association’s (CSAA) Five Diamond Certification ensuring code compliance.

The businesses that will consolidate under the Chubb brand are Antronnix, CalProtection, Detection Logic Diversified Fire Products, Fire Systems Inc., Florida State Fire & Security, HFP Corporation, Lane Fire & Safety Pratt Landry Associates, John W. Polhemus, and Red Hawk Vantronics Security Systems.
