Bradenton, FL, September 19, 2011 – UTC Fire & Security companies Onity, Interlogix, Lenel, Supra and MAS will showcase their latest product offerings featuring wireless and remote connectivity, mobile applications, IP-centric and integrated solutions at booth # 1501 at the ASIS International Exhibit September 19-22 in Orlando, Florida. Kelly Romano, president of UTC Fire & Security’s Global Security Products business said: “In the past two years, we have really changed the game for UTC Fire & Security, positioning the Security Products business to capitalize on current growth trends and opportunities.”

Interlogix™, a leader in security and life safety solutions for residential and commercial enterprises, announced at the show the expansion of its video surveillance line to include IP and megapixel cameras that comply with the standardization requirements of both ONVIF (the Open Network Video Interface Forum) and PSIA (the Physical Security Industry Association), offering customers a variety of options for their network installation. On display at the Interlogix booth, these cameras form a complete line of network recorders, analog and network cameras, and transmission equipment.
“With this increased investment in video products, we are providing more IP-centric solutions that meet industry standards and can be integrated with third-party offerings,” stated Kostas Mellos, Interlogix sales leader, video & transmission.
Also from Interlogix, the TruPortal IP appliance-based access control solution is designed to deliver reliable, high-end technology that installs quickly and easily out of the box, is targeted for small to mid-sized commercial installations, and works seamlessly with the TruVision line of video surveillance recorders and cameras. The company introduced a companion iPad® application that enables users to remotely monitor system activity and perform basic administration.
Another mobile app announced at the show is MASmobile™ for the MASterMind security automation software. The MASmobile app is downloadable from Apple® and compatible with both the iPhone® and iPad® devices, allowing customers and technicians to view system status summaries, events and test history, zones, contacts and can remotely place systems on and off test.
For integration of physical security systems, Onity, one of the world’s leading providers of electronic locking solutions announced the introduction of the Onity Wireless Lock (OWL). Employing the new Onity Partner Enterprise Network (OPEN) program, third-party access control software providers can easily integrate with the OWL lock using its open architecture interface, providing a cohesive and economical method of securing facility locations that can save customers up to 70% compared to some wired access systems.
Lenel announced two new partnerships at the exhibit that will provide more economical solutions to customers. An agreement with Panasonic System Networks Company will provide additional choice to Lenel customers seeking a single source for seamless end-to-end video surveillance solutions. Lenel will also enter into a bundling agreement with IQinVision under which Lenel will package the newest IQeye standard and HD/megapixel H.264 network cameras with Lenel’s Video Channel License. As part of the agreements, both IQinVision IP surveillance cameras and Panasonic IP surveillance cameras will be added to the Lenel pricebook.
