Onity Signs Preferred Supplier Agreement
With Marriott International

Oyarzun, Spain – 26 February 2007 – Onity announced today its selection by Marriott International as a preferred supplier of electronic locking solutions to Marriott’s properties around the world.  The agreement includes properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, and extends through the end of 2008.  Onity, a leading global provider of electronic control and security solutions for lodging applications, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

Prior to selecting Onity, Marriott management conducted a thorough evaluation and negotiation with Onity’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Asia) regional headquarters in Spain. The final decision was based primarily on Onity’s worldwide customer service and support network, product quality and superior reliability.
