Chubb Security Opens New Chicago Office

CHICAGO, IL, August 24, 2006 — Chubb Security announced today its organic expansion into the Midwest region of the United States with the opening of a new office in Chicago, Illinois.  The office will serve customers across Chicago and throughout the Midwest while enhancing Chubb’s national coverage by supplementing established regional strongholds in the Northeast, Northwest and throughout Texas. Chubb Security is part of UTC Fire and Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Situated in a sister Carrier facility, this new office will offer a broad portfolio of security systems sales and integration services including intrusion, access control, and CCTV to the Financial, Retail, Manufacturing, Hospitality and other key commercial segments.  This location will also serve as the hub for expansion throughout the Midwest.
